Like a sunny island dream, Sand and Skin is all about the languor and pleasure of a moment of eternity set on a fine sandy beach, with the sun undulating on the skin, leaving an inimitable memory: that of a Madagascar vanilla absolute further magnified by the essence of benzoin and a fraction of ylang-ylang. An addictive, warm composition with obvious charm.

Quote from the perfumer: "On a remote island, the white wisps of incandescent benzoin heated by the sun mingle with the irresistible scent of black Madagascar vanilla pods... In the shade of lush vegetation, a gentle breeze, imbued with the bewitching scent of ylang-ylang, refreshes the air and envelops you in a gentle torpor."

Inspiration: On the beach, it shines and calls to the eye, the touch and the ear. On the bottle cap of sand and skin, this shell motif, a friend of the shores, also calls to the sense of smell and the pleasure of discovering a solar and voluptuous fragrance. The warm brown tones evoke the end of a day when the sun offers a fiery spectacle.

      Osswald NYC uses both USPS and UPS for shipping. Ground shipping for all CONUS orders under $100 will be auto calculated by weight and carrier for best rate, and free for all CONUS orders over $100; ground shipping will be via USPS. Two-day shipping for CONUS orders is $25, and next-day shipping is $40; express shipping will be via UPS. Orders are fulfilled Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

      • USPS First Class Mail: 3 -7 Business Days, depending on the region. This is standard mail and does not include a tracking.

      Return Policy

      Returns and exchanges are accepted within 10 days of purchase date, although we reserve the right to make exceptions on a case-by-case basis. To be eligible for a return, the merchandise must be unopened, unused and in the same condition that you received it (unbroken cellophane wrapping) and accompanied by the original Osswald sales receipt. Furthermore OSSWALDNYC.COM cannot be held responsible for any claims after 10 days of purchase.       Returns:
      Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item and e-mail a digital store credit or refund based on your preference. 

      You will be responsible for paying for shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping label will be deducted from your refund.

      Please pack/return the item carefully so it is not damaged upon its return.

      Exchanges:
      We replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at info@osswaldnyc.com and we will send you a complimentary shipping label. Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

      Cancellation:
      All orders are automatically processed on our secure merchant processor and sent for shipment as soon as they are placed. During this process we incur irreversible fees. Therefore, while we understand that orders might need to be changed sometimes, we are unable to do it free of charge after a certain point. We strictly adhere to the following cancellation policy:

      If you cancel your order BEFORE it has been shipped, you will be assessed a 5% cancellation fee before credit is issued.

      If you cancel your order AFTER it has been shipped, please follow our Return Policies & Procedures. The cancellation will have to be treated as a Return with all applicable fees.
