Pantheon Roma approaches perfumery as a form of storytelling, drawing its world from the art, beauty, and passion of the Italian Renaissance. At the heart of the house is Raffaello Sanzio and the legendary love story between the Renaissance master and his beloved Margherita, a narrative of desire, creativity, and memory that unfolds from one fragrance to the next. Rather than simply referencing the past, Pantheon Roma uses scent to imagine its characters, places, and emotions anew.
Rome is inseparable from that story. Raffaello arrived in the city to work for the papal court, while Margherita became his muse in the streets of Trastevere. The secret garden where the house imagines their encounters, the bakeries of the neighborhood, the grandeur of the Renaissance, and the Pantheon itself, where Raffaello was ultimately laid to rest, become recurring points of inspiration throughout the collection. Each fragrance acts as another scene, moving between portrait, place, memory, and emotion.
Behind Pantheon Roma are Paolo and Leone Fadelli, father and son united by a shared dedication to artistic perfumery. Paolo brings more than three decades of experience working with and introducing important international fragrance houses, while Leone continues that foundation with a contemporary perspective. Together, they have shaped Pantheon Roma as both a family project and an expression of a lifetime spent within independent perfumery.
The fragrances are developed in close dialogue with master perfumers, most notably longtime collaborator Arturetto Landi, and with an emphasis on rare materials, depth, and expressive composition. Across the collection, ingredients such as oud, incense, leather, iris, tuberose, vanilla, woods, fruits, and resins are used not simply for effect, but as part of a larger narrative. From the gourmand warmth of Trastevere to the portraiture of Raffaello and Donna Margherita, each creation is intended to give physical form to a particular moment in the house’s story.
